About Martin Roth
Martin Roth is a Frankfurt-born, Berlin-based pianist, composer, producer, and live act who has shaped the electronic music landscape since the early 2000s. After a breakthrough year in 2009 - when he was named Beatport Star of the Year alongside Eric Prydz and Deadmau5 - he topped the platform’s charts five times, landed 16 Top 10s, and earned multiple award nominations. His reputation as a genre-spanning artist quickly led to international touring and residencies at iconic venues like Ministry of Sound (London) and Cielo (NYC).
In 2012, his deep house anthem Beautiful Life on Anjunadeep became a defining release, holding the Beatport #1 position and staying in the Top 100 for over six months. Further EPs followed on Anjunadeep and beyond, including Mel / Maya (2014), Have You Ever (2015), Ultraviolet (2017) and Organic Cold Brewed Hipster Funk (2019) showcasing Roth’s ability to evolve - from peak-time club material to more melodic, emotionally charged work.
By 2019, he introduced a new artistic persona: An Analog Guy in a Digital World - a live and studio project focused on ambient, acoustic-infused electronica. The self-released debut album became a surprise viral success, generating over 50 million streams and leading to placements in global ad campaigns, fashion shows, and the 2023 Google documentary. His follow-up ambient LP, Mono No Aware, released on Anjunadeep Reflections / Anjunachill in 2022, further expanded this intimate, cinematic direction.
Through it all, Martin Roth’s work is defined by a sense of restraint and emotional clarity. The Analog Guy sound embraces minimalism: stripped-back melodies, warm textures, and nostalgic imperfections that reflect a longing for slowness and human connection in an accelerating world.
With a unique ability to connect with his audience, Martin Roth's performances are truly unforgettable.
